Today on the blog, you will find out what happens when you have two styling brunettes in charge of bringing your Mother’s Day tablescape to life. Add in some Kendra Scott goodies and yummy champagne cocktails, and you will wish every day was Mother’s Day!
The best part about Mother’s Day, is that you get to spoil the women in your life who have inspired and loved you! I love celebrating and showing appreciation to my mother, grandmother and future mother-in-law. Mother figures come in all forms, and I am a firm believer that you do not have to birth children to be a mother to someone!
Amanda and I are two creative glittery spirits, and when we get together sparks of crafty magic fly! it is always fun to be around someone who get excited about the same things as you!
Amanda and I are both big fans of Kendra Scott! Kendra Scott has been my go-to for gifts for my mom and my future mother-in-law for years! It also helps that they both love Kendra Scott as well! Who doesn’t love receiving these little yellow boxes? Amanda and I decided to use yellow as our main color, with a hint of pink , and a dash of blue & white.
Grab your caftans and pour the champagne, Amanda and I are here to share our ideas and table décor. Have you ever wondered what a table would look like with Kendra Scott waiting awaiting your guests? Well now you can find out! To compliment our tablescape, Amanda and I are sporting accordion (pleated) caftans. I am wearing a fabulous floral Monica Mahoney caftan, and Amanda is wearing one of my vintage Georgie Keyloun caftans.
Take it from me ladies, everyone needs at least one accordion caftan in their closet!
This delicious cocktail is champagne and hibiscus syrup, garnished with fresh rosemary.
Amanda made the hibiscus syrup fresh for us, and how darling is she in this photo?!
You can not have a champagne cocktail without cake!
For this tablescape, I decided to pair old with new china, and opt out of chargers. I started with cream & silver scallop lined vintage china. Then I placed the dinner napkin, before adding my favorite blue and white dishes! My favorite thing about the blue and white plates- they are microwaveable and dishwasher safe!!! We then placed fresh lemons on top as the place card.
Need some gift ideas for mom this Sunday? This Kendra Scott candle is my ABSOLUTE favorite! The scent is called Amethyst, and it is pure heaven!! You can never go wrong gifting a candle (unless you leave the candle in your car and you live in Texas). Kendra Scott has some wonderful candle scents. While they may be at a higher price point, they do last and their scents are magnificent!!! In my opinion, they are worth every penny!
I hope everyone has a lovely weekend celebrating all the mother figures in their life!! It was such a treat putting this spread together with my dear friend Amanda and Kendra Scott! Thank you all for reading along, and I hope that I have inspired you to “Do It Yourself or Treat Yourself!”
