Who Let the Dog Out?
I would like to formally introduce you to Maggie, our Doberman Puppy!
I am going to be sharing all the fun photos of our sweet Maggie, from the day that we picked her up to the first two weeks with her in our home. Get ready for all the photos!! Yes I am THAT dog mom!
I have ALWAYS wanted a Doberman. Ever since I was a little girl and saw the movie Father of the Bride, I knew Dobermans were for me! Fast forward a couple decades and here we are! Cory and I decided to put our names down with a breeder in Houston back in March. The litter was due in April and after a few weeks we would be able to pick which puppy we wanted. We initially wanted a boy, but the momma only gave birth to two boys and both were already claimed. We then had the choice to either take a girl or wait for a different litter in the coming months. We opted to take a girl. Insert Maggie.
Can you believe the photo of Maggie below was taking on June 13th (we picked her up June 12th) and the photo above was taken on June 23rd. She has grown so much!! She is going to be so big when she is full grown, we can not wait!!
Ok time for a visual scrapbook of Maggie! The photo below is the time we had eyes on her in person! She was 8 weeks in this photos and it was love at first sight!! As I write this post, we have had Maggie 2 weeks and oh my word has she grown. I am so glad I take so many photos for our memories because Cory and I are enjoying looking back at how small she was just two weeks ago.
Our breeder was located in Houston, so now here are some photos of us traveling back with her. I highly recommend our breeder Heather of Texas Size Dobes, she was wonderful to work with and if we ever get another Doberman in the future, we will absolutely be getting it from Heather! I finally get a photo with Maggie. Our first selfie! We are both opted for an au natural look for our first photo together.
As I mentioned before, I fell and broke my leg the day after we got Maggie. However I had MY HEART SET on some family photos with her as soon as we got her. I knew I would treasure them, and I knew she would near be that small again. So I saved all my energy and might to put make up on and put on cute clothes to take family photos the day before my surgery. I am SO GLAD I did! Cory and I both love all the family photos we were able to take. I can not wait to print them and get frame them for our home. Big shout out to my wonderful mom who took the photos and make sure to move the crutches out of ever photo once I was balancing only good leg and holding on to Cory. PS I love a matchy matchy moment and I may have been planning our outfits out since April… no regrets!
As a sneaker designer, I have to get creative with how I can show off my sneaker designs (at least until my right foot is better and I can walk on it). Say hello to the face of Stylin Brunette Sneakers for 2021 Summer/ Fall Collection. Legs graciously provided by my future Mother-in-Law.

Fortunately Maggie is cute, Cory is a saint for taken such good care of us, and my friends/ followers have been SO SWEET & AMAZING!!
Including Alexandra from Lemon House Design. I have been a big fan of hers since last year. She creates the cutest garland banners and ornaments!! I have a few of her banners and LOVE THEM. Alexandra graciously surprised me with a MAGGIE BANNER!!!! I literally was so surprised and I am obsessed with it!!! It has absolutely cheered me up! Luckily, my friend was over when I opened it so we immediately set up a little photoshoot with Maggie and her banner.

The 2021 version of the kind you used to be able to take in the mall. LOL y’all know what I’m talking about. Maggie has beautiful markings and her coat is beautiful. We are keeping her ears natural/floppy. We just love her so much already!!
This is the latest photo I took of our girl. It was taken last night. Dont worry this wont be the only blog post dedicated to Maggie. Thank you so much for loving on her as much as we do.
