Blog Launch Party
For about a year, starting a blog was just an idea. However, anyone who knows me understands that I cannot sit on an idea for too long before taking action. After working with one of the most amazing and talented web designers, I knew I could make my dreams a reality. Kelly from - has been an absolute joy to work with. She designed my blog site and created my logo- and I am so pleased to say she was wonderful every step of the way. She literally brought my dreams to life and exceeded every expectation I had. I knew we had to celebrate the hard work that we put into making this blog happen. What better way to celebrate than with a party?
Sunset Ridge Home & Hardware, a wonderful family owned store located in Alamo Heights, hosted my blog party. If you have not been to the store, it is a must! It was important to me to have my launch reflect my Do It Yourself and Treat Yourself lifestyle. Although it is a hardware store, don’t let the name fool you. When you enter this store you will be greeted by the latest in home accents, a wonderful selection of glass ware and serving wear, a wide variety of embroidery dinner and cocktail napkins, and even some fabulous earrings! Don’t get me wrong, the store does have tools, painting supplies, and all the essentials for home projects. But what is special about this hardware store is the friendliness. It is the only hardware store I can go in to and not feel completely overwhelmed. Sunset Ridge Home & Hardware has everything you want, need, and didn’t even know you wanted until you saw it. It is truly a shopping destination for both men and women.
My boyfriend HATES shopping, but this store is boyfriend approved! I am thankful for the store for graciously hosting my friends and me for my blog launch party! It may sounds cheesy, but November 29th of this year was the most amazing and memorable night of 2018. It was the night that so many ladies took time out of their busy day to come support me, encourage me, and celebrate my blog coming to life.
The entire evening I was surrounded by so many beautiful ladies, some I have known years, and some I have just met this year. Each one is uniquely special and important in my life. I am so fortunate to have so many friends who are truly lovely and supportive to me and my dreams! I hope to continue to be a good friend to all of these ladies and to return the encouragement to them and their passions. Cheers ladies to community over competition, and bringing out the best in one another! A very special THANK YOU to Sugar & Champagne who was the master mind behind the cake and cupcakes.
