Charcuterie Board Valentine's Picnic
This year, I wanted to skip the crowds and spend a lovely evening in with my fiancé. I opted for a backyard candlelit charcuterie board picnic! It was the best idea! Read along to see how I combined vintage china, portieux vallerysthal, and a delicious charcuterie board from Cheese & Honey.
I can not wait to show you the details in our backyard picnic. This year, I wanted to create a cozy vintage inspired backyard set up for my fiancé and I. I love that I was able to use my portieux vallerysthal champagne coups and appetizer containers. The colors on this table were magnificent! The appetizer containers are my FAVORITE! They make a variety of shapes (I am only using half the set- be on the look out for them in future tablescapes), but one shape in particular is a P. I LOVE this because my new last name will start with a P! It also comes as no surprise that I would use a vintage champagne bucket. I have been collecting them for a while (I have 18). I am collecting them, because they are going to be our centerpieces at our wedding.
I am so thankful my sweet friend from high school has started her own company creating charcuterie board. She offers them in different sizes and you get to keep the board! You can visit her site here. I love that way she made the middle cheese into the shape of a heart! I think I want to make my own dessert/ snack inspired charcuterie board now!
I have been collecting vintage brass candle holders and I just adore how they look!
To compliment the blues on the table I went with a fun vintage china patterns. I also used vintage napkins and vintage napkin rings. They are my favorite, because they are a plush pink bow!!! Can you say perfection?
I hope everyone had a lovely day spreading love to others, and most importantly themselves, this Valentine’s day! Thank you so much for reading along. I hope this post has inspired you to “Do It Yourself or Treat Yourself.” - Stylin Brunette
